Privacy

What we keep: your email address, your first name if you give it, a hashed password, your language, and your learning activity (lessons, answers, XP, streak, hearts). Stripe keeps your payment details; we never see your card number.

Why: to run your account, save your progress, show the weekly leaderboard (first names only), and manage your subscription. Legal basis: the contract between us, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service working.

How long: as long as your account exists. Ask for deletion at the address above and the account and its data are erased within 30 days. Stripe keeps invoices for the legal accounting period.

Cookies: none for tracking. Your browser stores your session and your language choice. Audience is measured without cookies (Vercel Web Analytics).

Notifications: new accounts and payments are signalled to the publisher by an internal Telegram message that carries your email address. Your rights: access, correction, deletion, portability, objection — write to the address above. You may also complain to the CNIL.

Terms of sale

The service. Kurdi School is an online Kurmanji course. The free plan gives access to the whole course with four hearts; a wrong answer costs a heart, a heart comes back every four hours. The Plus plan gives unlimited hearts.

Price. Plus costs €4.99 per month, VAT included, billed monthly by Stripe from the day you subscribe. Prices may change for future periods with one month's notice by email.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your profile. Plus stays active until the end of the month already paid; nothing is charged afterwards.

Right of withdrawal. As a consumer you have 14 days from subscribing to withdraw, even after using the service. Write to the address above and the first payment is refunded in full.

Content. The course is built from a university beginner course in Kurmanji and is provided as is; it is a learning aid, not a certification. You may not copy or resell it.

Disputes. French law applies. Consumers may use the mediator listed on the French government consumer site before any court.
