How the course moves

Each skill has five levels. A unit opens when every skill of the previous one is at level 1 or above: you move forward without skipping the basics. Words already seen come back in later units, on purpose.

Seven exercise types take turns: choose, match, fill a gap, build a sentence, write it, take dictation, answer a story question.

Test your level, no strings attached

Ten questions to see where you stand. The result shows right away, with the unit to start from.
